Fabiola Alba-Vivar
I am an Economics and Education PhD Candidate at Columbia University. As an applied microeconomist, my research focuses on the effects of (better) transportation on college access and choice and how college reputation affects labor market outcomes. In other work, I study the spillover effects of large policies in education markets and health outcomes. I have ongoing projects in Peru and the Dominican Republic.
Beginning in July 2024, I will join the Department of Economics at Wake Forest University as an Assistant Professor.
